PGA British Columbia Golfathon for ALS Presented by Pacific Blue Cross

2023 PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS Media Binder

Every June, golf courses across BC host a special event called the PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS. During this event, PGA golf professionals commit to playing from sunrise to sunset in order to raise funds and awareness for those affected by ALS. All donations collected during this event go directly towards supporting individuals living with ALS, as well as their families and caregivers, ensuring they have the best quality of life possible.

Check out our 2023 PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS Media Binder post-event summary.

ALS can hit anyone, at any time, regardless of age, gender or ethnic origin. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is two to five years. Support equipment costs an average of $150,000.00 per patient; nursing and/or home care costs are up to 10 times that amount.
