Filming the 2020 PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS TV Ad

It is important this year to ensure we are practising physical distancing due to COVID-19, starting with the creation of the TV ad to promote this important fundraiser for ALS.

We are very thankful that the BC Golf community has taken action to ensure safety for all during this time, and that the public can get out and enjoy a game of golf in a safe environment.

Thank you to Donald Miyazaki (Executive Director, PGA of BC) and Jay Janower (Sports Anchor; Reporter Global News BC / Ambassador of the PGA of BC
Golfathon for ALS) for taking the time to film the 2020 PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS TV ad.

ALS can hit anyone, at any time, regardless of age, gender or ethnic origin. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is two to five years. Support equipment costs an average of $160,000.00 per patient; nursing and/or home care costs are up to 10 times that amount.
