2019 Quilchena Golfathon

June 20, 2019

Each course participating in the Golfathon for ALS is provided with caddy bibs for their volunteers. Yesterday, Quilchena golfers returned their caddy bib to ALS BC with signatures from everyone who donated.

Thank you to Quilchena Golf & Country Club for their efforts in raising funds and awareness!

ALS can hit anyone, at any time, regardless of age, gender or ethnic origin. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is two to five years. Support equipment costs an average of $140,000 per patient; nursing and/or home care costs are up to 10 times that amount.
